Ingredients

  • 250 grams margarine
  • 500 ml coconut
  • 2 1/2 ml baking powder
  • 1 slab peppermint crisp chocolate
  • 250 ml castor sugar
  • 500 ml cake flour
  • 50 ml cocoa

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar together.

    Add coconut and sifted flour, baking powder and cocoa.

    Mix to form a soft dough.

    Spread onto a baking sheet 33x21cm and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 30mins.

    Remove and sprinkle grated chocolate over biscuits while still hot.

    When slightly cooled cut into squares or fingers.
