- 23 cup margarine
- 1 23 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 23 cup cocoa
- 1 14 teaspoons baking soda
- 14 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 13 cups water
- 12 cup crushed peppermint candy
Directions

1Combine margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixing bowl.

2Beat on high for 3 minutes.

3Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and powder and salt.

4Add alternately with water to creamed mixture.

5Blend just until combined; add candy.

6Pour into 2 greased and floured round pans.

7Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

8Eat plain or frost with vanilla icing.
