- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 qt. boiling water
Directions

1Cut and shape dough into 12 (16-inch) pieces.

2Twist pieces into pretzel shape.

3Bring water and baking soda to a rapid boil. One at a time, place pretzels into boiling water.

4Boil 1 minute. Remove and drain.

5Place on well-greased baking sheet.

6Brush with egg.

7Sprinkle with salt.

8Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
