Perfect Rice Pudding Recipe

  • Rice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 3 Large eggs, barely beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Dash of cinnamon

Directions

    Grease small to medium size bowl, set aside.

    Prepare sufficient rice to make 3/4 c. cooked rice.

    Put into greased bowl.

    Add in rest of ingredients into bowl with the rice and stir well before cooking.

    Place bowl into pan with about 1 1/2 inches of water in bottom of pan.

    Bake in oven for about 1 1/4 hrs at 350 degrees.

    Stir once or possibly twice while cooking to prevent rice from settling.

    Pudding is done when a table knife inserted comes out clean.
