- For Brownies
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups persimmon pulp
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- For Icing
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together; add persimmon pulp, buttermilk and eggs.

2Then add dry ingredients and mix well.

3Pour into 10x12 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

4Top with icing when cooled.

5To prepare icing: Cream butter and cream cheese together; add vanilla, cream and then add powdered sugar.

6Spread on brownies, sprinkle with pecans.
