- 1 c. persimmon pulp (do not strain)
- 1 c. nut meats, chopped
- 1 c. raisins, chopped
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve baking soda in persimmon pulp.

2Cream the sugar and shortening.

3Add nuts, raisins and spices to flour.

4Beat egg and add to pulp.

5Add to dry ingredients.

6Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 15 minutes.
