  • 1 12 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 cup melted margarine
  • 2 cups persimmon pulp
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 14 cups sugar
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup melted butter
  • 2 12 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup walnut meat (optional)

Directions

    Mix first three ingredients and pat firmly in a pie pan.

    Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or chill.

    Mix persimmon pulp in a large bowl and beat in all other ingredients in order given.

    Pour into graham cracker crust and bake in 325 oven for 1 hour or until firm.

    Serve with whipped cream topped with chopped nuts if desired.
