- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. cream (canned Milnot will do)
- 1/2 stick butter
Directions

1Add sugar to persimmon pulp.

2Add well beaten eggs; stir well. Add soda to milk and stir until foaming ceases.

3Add milk to 1st mixture and stir.

4Sift flour, salt and baking powder.

5Sift into persimmon mixture.

6Beat well.

7Add vanilla, cinnamon and cream. Put butter into the pan your in and melt.

8Pour into batter. Reserve enough to grease pan well.

9Beat well and pour into baking pan.

10Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until done.
