  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar pineapple preserves
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Place cheese in bowl and cream until soft and smooth.

    Blend in sugar and salt; add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Blend in milk and vanilla.

    Spread preserves over bottom of shell. Spread cheese mixture next.

    Sprinkle with pecans.

    Bake at 400° for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 325° and bake 50 minutes more.
