- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (12 oz.) jar pineapple preserves
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Place cheese in bowl and cream until soft and smooth.

2Blend in sugar and salt; add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly. Blend in milk and vanilla.

3Spread preserves over bottom of shell. Spread cheese mixture next.

4Sprinkle with pecans.

5Bake at 400° for 10 minutes; then reduce heat to 325° and bake 50 minutes more.
