Ingredients

  • 6 oz shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Heinz ketchup
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 boneless and skinless chicken breast or thigh
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Heinz ketchup
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp hot chili oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or Thai chili pepper dried
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 cup Shaoxing wine
  • 1/4 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 large naval orange

    General Taos chicken: cut chicken into bite sized pieces mix everything but milk and flour in the Phoenix chicken ingredients let marinate for 15 minutes.

    Mix flour and milk make a batter and fry set onto paper towels mix your ingredients for Phoenix sauce except cornstarch and water.

    Bring sauce to simmer for 3 minutes now mix the cornstarch and water add to sauce stirring constantly till thickens add your chicken stir well set aside

    Dragon: heat oil add onions and celery cook stirring constantly for 4 minutes mix all but the green peas shrimp, cornstarch, and water bring to simmer

    Add shrimp stir in, mix water and cornstarch, add peas stir in the cornstarch solution stirring constantly till thickens

    Garnish with orange arranging in the center of two Dragon and Phoenix slice thin and slice in center enjoy
