  • 6 c. vinegar
  • 6 c. white sugar
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Wash and cook, beets until tender.

    Peel and slice in bottle. Mix ingredients above and bring to boiling point.

    Do not boil. Pour over beets and sprinkle a little pepper on top of each bottle to taste.
