Pickled Beets

  • 1 16 oz. can sliced beets, undrained
  • 1 1/3 cups cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup slice onion
  • 1 Tbsp. pickling spice (mixed)
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in saucepan and heat to boiling. Cool to room temperature.

    Chill, covered several hours before serving.

    If some sweetness is desired, add some artificial sweetener.
