  • 2 1/2 c. beet juice
  • 3 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 3/4 c. sugar
  • 5 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 3/4 tsp. cloves
  • 4 cans beets, drained
  • 2 doz. hard-boiled eggs

Directions

    Place eggs and beets in a large glass jar.

    Heat beet juice, vinegar, sugar and spices to boiling.

    Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over beets and eggs.

    Let set 1/2 hour, then put in refrigerator.

    Chill.
