  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pickling spices
  • 1 c. water
  • 6 c. sugar

Directions

    Cook beets about 1 hour in a big pan.

    Cold dip until skins come off.

    Cut as desired and put in pan.

    Cover beets with mixture.

    Cook 15 minutes.

    Put in jars while hot.
