  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Cook beets until tender or use sliced, canned beets.

    Bring to a boil. Add salt, sugar, vinegar and water.

    Pour hot mixture over beets. Seal.
