  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Boil beets.

    Remove skins.

    Bring the vinegar, sugar, water, salt, cloves and cinnamon to a boil.

    Place hot beets in hot jars. Pour syrup over beets to cover.

    Seal at once.
