  • 8 large carrots or 1 1/2 lb., cut into 2 to 3-inch pieces and cut lengthwise so they are thin slivers
  • 1/2 c. onions, diced
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 c. oil
