  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. mixed pickling spices
  • 1 qt. beets and juice

    Boil eggs and peel.

    Pack hot into 1/2 gallon jar.

    Boil sugar and vinegar.

    Pour over eggs.

    Add beets and juice.

    Let stand overnight.

    May add a few drops red food coloring.

    Refrigerate.
