- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 12 hard-cooked eggs, shelled
Directions

1Combine vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, garlic, celery seed, 1 cup water and 1 teaspoon salt.

2Bring to boiling.

3Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Cool.

4Place eggs in jar. Pour mixture over eggs. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 days.

5To serve, remove from liquid and cut lengthwise.

6Makes 12 eggs.
