  • 3 1/2 lb. small okra pods
  • garlic buds
  • 1 pt. distilled white vinegar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 3 small hot peppers (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. dill seed

Directions

    Pack okra firmly into hot sterilized jars.

    Put 1 garlic bud in each jar.
  3. 3
    Bring remaining ingredients to a rolling boil.

    Pour brine over okra and seal.

    Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
