  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic (per jar)
  • 3 c. water
  • 12 heads dill or dill seed
  • 1 chili pepper (per jar, optional)

Directions

    Wash and drain okra.

    Prick with a fork and pack in jar. Place dill, garlic and chili pepper in jars.

    Boil wate rand vinegar.

    Add salt.

    Pour over the okra-packed jars.

    Seal with lids and boil in water bath for 10 minutes.
