- 1 1/2 gal. water
- 1 box salt
- whole okra pods
- 1 tsp. dill seed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeno pepper (or any hot pepper)
Directions

1Pour hot vinegar solution over okra, etc. in the jar.

2Seal; do not crowd okra in the jar.

3It takes at least three weeks to pickle and get crisp.
