- 2 qt. best cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 3 qt. granulated sugar
- 1/4 lb. stick cinnamon
Directions

1Make a syrup of the vinegar and sugar.

2Place this in a kettle with a spice bag containing the whole cloves and stick cinnamon. Pare and halve the peaches, leaving an occasional stone for flavor.

3Peaches may be left whole.

4Cook the peaches in the syrup until tender, then place in jars.

5Fill jars with the vinegar syrup and seal.
