- 2 lb. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 pt. vinegar
- whole cloves
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- 4 qt. peaches
Directions

1Combine sugar, cinnamon and vinegar.

2Cook for 20 minutes. Dip each peach in boiling water.

3Remove skin by rubbing with a cloth.

4Stick 2 cloves into each peach.

5Cook in the syrup until tender.

6Do not cook too many at one time.

7Place cooked peaches in preheated glass jars. Boil remaining syrup for 10 minutes. Pour over peaches.

8Seal jars.
