  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • pinch of alum in each jar
  • 2 garlic cloves in each pint

    Pack raw peppers into jars.

    Bring vinegar, water and sugar to a hard boil; pour the hot liquid into jars and seal.
