Pickled Shrimp

  • 4 lb. peeled shrimp, cooked
  • 2 large onions, sliced in rings
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce (more makes it better)
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. black pepper (heaping)

Directions

    Layer shrimp and onion rings in casserole or glass bowl.

    Mix last 6 ingredients and pour over shrimp and onions.

    Refrigerate overnight (will keep 2 months).

    Stir occasionally to keep vinegar mixed with oil.

    Can be eaten plain or with crackers.
