- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 large egg
Directions

1Put flour, salt and sugar into bowl; add vegetable shortening. Mix well until crumbly.

2In small bowl, beat 1/2 cup water, vinegar and egg.

3Combine two mixtures together.

4Divide dough into four equal portions; shape into flat round patties.

5Wrap in wax paper.

6Chill for 1/2 hour.

7Roll out on wax paper.
