Ingredients

  • 1 34 cups shortening
  • 12 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups flour

Directions

    Put shortening, water, vinegar and egg in the mixer and mix slowly to incorporate.

    Add sugar and salt.

    Add the flour a half a cup at a time.

    After the flour is incorporated let the machine knead it for a minute or so.

    Separate the dough into 4 equal balls and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
