  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. and 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 4 to 5 Tbsp. cold water

    Blend flour, salt and shortening with pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal.

    Then add water, stirring with fork.

    Bake at 425° until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
