- 1 c. Crisco shortening
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar, (I use apple cider vinegar)
- 5 Tbsp. very cold 7-Up or Talking Rain
Directions

1With a knife, cut first 4 ingredients until mixed well.

2Beat the egg really well and spread over the dough, the vinegar over the egg and then the 7-Up.

3Take a fork or spoon and mix well together. Roll, with your hands, into a ball or log.

4Wrap and put in refrigerator to cool.

5(It's easier to work with when cold.)

6Makes 2-9 inch pie crusts.

7(Not the deep dish kind.)
