Pie Crust For Cobbler Or Pie Crust Recipe

- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 egg, well beaten, in measuring c. add in sufficient cold water to make this 1/2 c. of liquid
Directions

1Blend flour and salt with shortening till it looks like small peas.

2Add in the liquid mix and blend well till it forms large ball.

3Divide into 2 balls.

4For a cobbler roll into rectangle (9 x 12 inch), add in warm fruit and top with second crust.

5I usually cut top crust into 1 inch strips and lay on top of fruit, overlapping slightly.

6Top entire cobbler with warm liquid from the fruit.

7Sprinkle with sugar and butter.

8Bake till golden in 375 degree oven.

9This also makes 2 pie crusts.
