- 6 c. flour
- 2 c. plus 4 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. cold water
Directions

1In large mixing bowl, add salt to flour, then cut shortening into flour until it resembles coarse corn meal.

2Add water, mixing until above mixture sticks together.

3Divide into 6 portions; roll out dough to fit pie tin.

4Place wax paper over 1/2 of crust, then fold.

5Place more wax paper on this and fold into quarters.

6Place in freezer bag with wax paper or Glad Wrap between crusts.

7Use as needed - freeze extras.

8This recipe makes 2 double crust cobblers.
