  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil or 1/4 c. Wesson oil and 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges and juice
  • 1 large can drained crushed pineapple
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Combine cake mix, oil, vanilla, eggs and mandarin oranges and then mix.

    Bake in 4 layers at 325° for 15 minutes or until done. Layers will be thin.

    Sprinkle pudding onto Cool Whip.

    Fold in nuts and pineapple.

    Frost cake (after layers are cool).

    Store in a cool place.
