Pimento Cheese Spread

Ingredients
- 1 stick oleo
- 3 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
- 1 1/4 lb. hoop cheese
- 3/4 pt. mayonnaise
- 1 jar pimento
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 large can Carnation milk
Directions

1Melt oleo in a heavy saucepan.

2Stir in flour or cornstarch until smooth.

3Add can of Carnation evaporated milk.

4Add sugar and cook on low heat until thick.

5Stir in cheese that has been grated on large hole side of grater.

6Stir over heat until melted. Remove from heat and pour in mixing bowl.

7Whip with a mixer until smooth.

8Add pimento and mayonnaise; whip again until smooth.

9Store in refrigerator in tightly covered container.

10Will keep for 3 or 4 weeks.
