- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 oz. French vanilla instant pudding
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 8 oz. whipped cream or Cool Whip
- chopped nuts
Directions

1Prepare cake as directed and bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Meanwhile, simmer pineapple and sugar.

3Remove baked cake from oven and, with a fork, poke holes all over cake.

4Cover with pineapple mixture and chill.

5Prepare pudding as directed and stir in coconut.

6Spread over cake.

7Cover with whipped topping and sprinkle with nuts.
