Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 can coconut (add last)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except coconut together and bring to a boil.

    Lower heat and continue to cook, stirring until it thickens.

    Remove from heat and add coconut.

    Pour over cake which has been prepared according to directions on box in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350°.
