Pineapple Casserole

  • 6 slices fresh bread
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Beat eggs and add to first mixture. Stir in pineapple and juice.

    Fold in bread and a pinch of salt. Bake in a greased casserole at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Serve hot. This is excellent with a ham dinner.
