Pineapple Casserole

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (not drained)
  • 5 slices white bread, cubed (no crusts)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Beat eggs, sugar and flour until fluffy. Add pineapple and pour into a well-greased casserole (8 x 8-inches). After tossing bread cubes in melted butter, add 3/4 of crumbs to pineapple mixture. Use rest as topping pressed slightly down. May add shredded cheese on top. Bake at 250° for 50 to 60 minutes.
