- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Cream shortening and sugars.

3Add eggs, pineapple and vanilla.

4Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder.

5Add to creamed mixture.

6Mix well.

7Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

8Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

9Remove to cooling rack. When cooled, frost with powdered sugar frosting.
