  • 1/2 c. butter (not margarine)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 5 slices white bread, cubed

Directions

    Melt butter; mix in sugar.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Stir in pineapple.

    Fold in bread.

    Bake in a 1 1/2-quart greased casserole, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.

    Serve warm as side dish with ham.
