  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 18 to 20 oz. crushed pineapple
  • 12 slices bread, cubed

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat well.

    Drain pineapple and save juice.

    Add pineapple and 2 tablespoons pineapple juice.

    Stir.

    Add cubed bread and mix well.

    Place in greased 2-quart dish.

    Bake uncovered at 350° for 50 minutes. Delicious with baked ham.
