- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 (13 or 15 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 8 to 12 oz. Cool Whip
Directions

1Prepare and bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan as directed on the label.

2Bring to boil the pineapple and sugar.

3With point of sharp knife, mark warm cake in 1 inch squares, cutting 1/2 inch deep.

4Spoon hot pineapple mixture over cake.

5Cool.

6Refrigerate until chilled.
