Pineapple Meringue Pie

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. butter flavored Crisco
  • 4 to 6 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Cut shortening into flour with a pastry blender until it's a crumb mixture.

    Stir in cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to form a dough ball.

    Roll out dough on a floured surface to fit an 8-inch pie pan.

    Place dough in pie pan, trim and decorate edge and bake at 475° for 10 to 12 minutes.
