- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. walnuts
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. ground mace
- 1 large egg
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. melted margarine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°; grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

2In large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients.

3In small bowl, beat egg slightly; add crushed pineapple and juice, milk and margarine.

4Stir egg mixture into flour mixture just until moistened.

5Pour batter into greased pan.

6Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

7Cool bread in pan on rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan to cool completely.
