Pineapple Nut Bread

- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice
- 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Directions

1In a large bowl, mix well flour, sugar, walnuts, baking powder, salt and baking soda.

2In a small bowl, beat egg, crushed pineapple (with its liquid), milk and margarine or butter; stir egg mixture into flour mixture just until flour is moistened. Pour batter into a greased pan.

3Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

4Cool bread.
