- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup juice.

2In a saucepan, combine 3/4 cup sugar and the cornstarch.

3Stir in the pineapple liquid.

4Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.

5Cook and stir 2 minutes more.

6Remove from heat and stir in remaining sugar and pineapple.

7Cool slightly.

8Fill a pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate with the pineapple mixture.

9Top with second crust, crimp and bake at 375°

10for 50 to 60 minutes until crust is golden.
