Pineapple Pork Chops(Light)

  • 4 lean pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 can (8 oz.) sliced pineapple in juice
  • 1/3 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley

    Trim fat from chops.

    Place chops in ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Drain pineapple and reserve juice.

    Mix pineapple juice, soy sauce and garlic powder.

    Pour over chops.

    Cover and refrigerate, turning chops once or twice for 8 hours.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Top each chop with pineapple slice.

    Sprinkle with paprika. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

    Bake until done, about 45 minutes.
