- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. crushed unsweetened pineapple with juice
Directions

1Cream Crisco, butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.

3Add flour, sifted with baking powder.

4Add 1 spoonful at a time alternately with milk and vanilla.

5Stir in pineapple and juice.

6Blend well.

7Pour into well-greased 10-inch tube pan.

8Place in cold oven.

9Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until top springs back when touched.

10Run knife around edge.

11Set on rack to cool.
