Pineapple Pound Cake

- 2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. hot water
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/4 c. oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix together sugar, oil and hot water.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Add pineapple, cinnamon, cloves, flour and nuts.

4Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

5Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Use ice pick to punch holes in top of cake while hot. Make glaze and pour over cake while hot.
