Pineapple Salad

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained (save liquid)
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 box lime Jell-O
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 (5 oz.) can Carnation cream, chilled

Directions

    In medium saucepan on medium heat, melt marshmallows in milk. Add mayonnaise, 1 box lime Jell-O and cream cheese.

    Mix until Jell-O and cheese is blended. Add drained pineapple. In large mixing bowl, whip Carnation cream until stiff; fold pineapple mixture into stiff Carnation milk.

    Chill in refrigerator until set. Mix remaining lime Jell-O as directed using pineapple liquid and cold water. Pour over pineapple mixture; put in refrigerator until set.
